Jesse Jackson says Obama is running the last leg of a 54 year race
In Part 8 of the Unconventional Wisdom series, 1996 presidential candidate Rev. Jesse Jackson says that Barack Obama has jumped over a huge hurdle in the struggle to end racism by becoming the 2008 Democratic party's presidential candidate. He added that without the people who have worked diligently for the past 54 years, Obama would have not been able to be the presumed nominee. He ended with saying that Obama is the embodiment of reconciliation because he is both Caucasian and African.
