Like I have said before... The Rocky has some of the best Photographers in the business!!!!!
Keep it up!!!
I just love how the right blasts this as "liberal" when only a few featured the DNC.
The most stunning photos of landscape were in this also.
My fav is the (two) deer in the snow.

This nonsense about liberal reportage is out of control.
Get a life.
Let's see, was the DNC here this year? Yes. An event like that in the newspaper's backyard is going to elicit a bit more coverage because of the impact on THIS community rather than something that happened in MINNESOTA.
There's many more images that were worthy of revisiting from the last year, but it's hard to narrow the thousands of images down when you have a talented staff such as the Rocky.

It definately shows how liberal the RMN is, with it's heavy heavy front piece on Obama, and his revelers. Other than the format (tabloid) I agree with John II. This was not that special sorry it's just my opinion

If you were not moved by this outstanding presentation, you must be blind. Not only this, but all of RMN's work is way beyond that of The Denver Post. Let's keep RMN up and running. All the people who put this wonderful info sphere out there day in and day out, should be commended and gainfully employed... The human in me is asking all of you not to let this great institution die... Don't waste this opportunity to make a difference...

I'd say that this is exhibit A of why The Rocky Mountain News should stay. It is a sad, sad thing that photojournalism of this level may not be around this time next year. I'm not sure why you wouldn't want to see this kind of creative and meaningful documentary photography continue to be a part of the community, but I'll certainly be sad to see it go.
Great work to all the photographers involved and nice production Judy!

Watching this video of RMN "Year In Photos" is exhibit A as to why the RMN should disappear. What a revealing selection of photos this was.
Goodbye RMN.
