Sam Adams

Sam Adams, Sports Columnist I am a native of Cleveland, Ohio (Yes, always a Cleveland Indians fan!) who moved to Denver in 1984. Two years later I took a leap of faith and landed in the field of journalism - first as a high school correspondent. Today? Sports notes columnist at the Rocky, where I’ve worked since Aug. 30, 1996. My resume includes two Olympics, three Final Fours, four Super Bowls, one Stanley Cup Finals, one World Series, dozens of prep and college events, and All-Star Games in hockey, baseball and basketball. And I've traveled the globe - from Sydney, Australia, to Hershey, Neb. One thing I've learned from covering sports is, the 37-year-old future Hall of Fame quarterback who wins his first Super Bowl can be every bit as giddy as the 15-year-old sophomore who scores his first basket in high school. Sports. What a life.
