Columnist

Mike Pearson is the Cultural Currents columnist for the Rocky. He began his career at age 16 working for the Bloomington (Ind.) Herald-Times. He also worked as arts editor for the El Paso (Texas) Herald-Post before joining the Rocky as a feature writer in 1988. He also writes a syndicated video review column for Scripps Howard News Service and a Sunday arts column for the Rocky. He is a recipient of a 1993 Michigan Journalism Fellowship.
