Popular music critic Mark Brown has his job by virtue of a squandered youth and a large CD collection. A graduate of California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, he has lived in Denver on and off since 1988. He has written for the San Francisco Chronicle, MSNBC.com, the Orange County Register, Addicted to Noise, Trouser Press, Wall of Sound, Launch, Request and various other music-related publications.
