Joe Mahoney is the Assistant Director of Multimedia at the Rocky.

Previously, he was a staff photographer covering daily assignments as well as special events including the Democratic and Republican National Conventions in 2008, the Summer Olympics in 2004 in Athens, Greece, the Colorado Avalanche Stanley Cup season in 2000-2001, the 2007 World Series run by the Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos.

He was also part of the Rocky team that won Pulitzer Prizes for the 1999 shootings at Columbine High School and the wildfires that ravaged Colorado in 2002.

Joe began his career as a photojournalist working for The Associated Press. He is married and has two children.
