ASK!: Airport can auction abandoned cars

Dodie is curious about what happens to cars left for extended periods in the parking lots at Denver International Airport.
Once cars have been left for 30 days without prior arrangement with parking officials, they are towed to the Mount Elbert shuttle lot, said DIA spokesman Chuck Cannon.
Cars are kept there for another 30 days or so while airport and law enforcement officials try to find the owners or lien holders. If a responsible party can't be found, the autos are sold at auction, Cannon said.
