Fort Collins police hunt man in sex assault of teen

Fort Collins police are searching for a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl Tuesday evening in Rolland Moore Park.

The alleged assault came on the same day that someone tried to abduct a 13-year-old girl.

Police say they don't have any evidence that the two incidents are connected.

The 15-year-old told police she was walking through Rolland Moore Park in southwest Fort Collins on her way to the Drake and Dunbar area when she got lost and instead decided to walk toward the park's entrance.

As she neared the basketball courts in the park, she noticed a red car.

A male got out of the car and attacked her from behind, she said. She didn't see her assailant, so was unable to describe him to police.

The suspect bound her hands behind her back, gagged her and said she would be killed if she screamed, the girl told police.

After being sexually assaulted, the victim ran to Jimmy John's Sandwich shop at Raintree and Shields Streets to report the assault.

She was taken to the Medical Center of the Rockies.

Police plan to re-interview the victim today to try to get more details.

Police were able to recover some evidence Tuesday night, spokeswoman Rita Davis said.

Such creatures cannot be rehabbed, they can only be treated like the rabid, antisocial creatures they are. Skip incarceration, just hang 'em at noon in the public square and leave the body hanging with a big sign that says "SEX OFFENDER".

    I can not say anything else you said it all.... other then make it pay preview so the whole nation can see what will happen when you hurt our little girls and even little boy....
