More than 100 residents of the Evansville, Wyo., area have signed a petition against a planned wind farm with 11 turbines.
The Natrona County Commission is scheduled to vote on the Chevron Global Power Co. wind farm today. If approved, it would be Natrona County’s first commercial wind project and the first built by Global Chevron.
Local resident Stan Mundy has submitted a petition against the project with the signatures of 114 local homeowners. Mundy says his home would be 800 feet from one of the turbines.
