AND IT'S TWINS FOR THE 10TH
Jason Bane, Democratic candidate for Jefferson County commissioner, welcomed his second child, son Marcus David Bane, on Sept. 20.
The same day, Bane and his wife, the former Julie Boettinger, celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary. They were married Sept. 20, 2003, in Redstone, just outside Carbondale.
Marcus joins a sister, Stella, 2.
"The first anniversary gift is supposed to be paper. I guess the fifth anniversary is 'baby.' "
Bane whose son's due date was today

Speaking of anniversaries, Republican state House candidate Kathy Green of Aurora and her husband Tim celebrated their 26th anniversary Thursday.
What did they do? Campaigned. They knocked on doors until it got dark.
"Romantic!" Kathy Green said.
Green faces Democrat Su Ryden in House District 36.
