Christy Luth and Craig Andrisen tied the knot Aug. 23.

The Morning Glo just got shinier.

Gloria Neal, one of the dandiest DJs in Denver, was hired by CBS4 News for a temporary gig during the Democratic National Convention. Starting this morning, Neal will sign on as a regular member of the 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. news team.

"After the month, the feedback was tremendous," Neal said. "It's great to get positive feedback, especially when (viewers) don't know you."

Neal has been a fixture on the Denver radio scene for years and most recently worked for Sassy-FM (107), but this is her first shot as a regular on television. Her reports - which will focus on the buzz around town or on the national scene - will air at 5:45 and 6:45 a.m.

"What are people talking about?" she said. "That's what I want to talk about on the air."

CBS4 honchos haven't named her segment yet, but she's not dismissing using her signature Morning Glo moniker. Honey Hush, another saying she adopted on the radio, will definitely be a part of the show, she said.

Neal will join news anchors Brooke Wagner and Tom Mustin along with meteorologist Stacey Donaldson on the morning crew.

"Tom and Brooke are very warm," Neal said. "When you come in somewhere new and if the anchors welcome you, that's a good quarter of the battle." Where will the ideas for her segments come from? "Life, honey."

You go, Glo.

FRASCA FOODIE: Frasca chef/owner Lachlan MacKinnon- Patterson tells Food & Wine magazine that even though he's from Canada, he's a fierce Denver Broncos fan.

In the mag's current issue, the Boulder restaurateur waxes fondly about the team he loves, plus throws out props to John Elway and John Lynch because, he says, the two former Broncos are Frasca fans.

For tailgating, MacKinnon- Patterson recommends mixed grill with sausages and bacon chops (that's a new one on me).

Food & Wine: "Do you know of any unique tailgating or food traditions connected to your team?"

MacKinnon-Patterson: "I love the hard-core fans that show up first thing on game day to cook and tailgate, all decked out in orange and blue. I have no idea what they cook, but their devotion to the team and season-long energy is awesome. In Colorado, we grill just about anything, so I could see buffalo burgers, brats and plenty of locally brewed beer."

WEDDING BELL BLISS: Dapper dresser Craig Andrisen and health care hottie Christy Luth sealed the matrimonial deal Aug. 23 atop Aspen Mountain. The bride, deliciously decked out in a Vera Wang original, had her sister, Cindy Nelson, stood up for her.

The groom, co-owner of the Andrisen Morton upscale men's clothing stores, was dressed in a navy tux from Ermenegildo Zegna; his son, Brooks Andrisen, was best man. After the ceremony, the 72 guests were treated to a reception at the Aspen Mountain Club.

Guests included John Elway and girlfriend, Paige Green; Elway's restaurant partner Tim Schmidt and wife Rebecca Jackson; Walter and Christie Isenberg; Rick Reilly and fiancee Cynthia Puchniarz.

FOODIE FODDER: The donkey stampede is over, but Denver dining certainly made an impact on food writer Kim O'Donnel, who posted her eatery impressions on washingtonpost.com during the DNC.

She spent one afternoon sipping and supping at hot spots, including Corridor 44 and The Market on Larimer Street, Devil's Food in Wash Park and Sushi Den on South Pearl. O'Donnel said if she had had more time, she would have included Bistro Vendome and The Village Cork on her must-eat list.

EAVESDROPPING on a 30-something woman to a 50-something man at Maggiano's: "You don't even know how many affairs you have had?"

Response: "Well, I've been married a long time!"
