TiVo, Dish Network tangle over patent

TiVo Inc. on Thursday told a federal judge that Dish Network Corp.'s digital-video recording service still violates the company's patent and asked that it be shut down.
Lawyers for Douglas County-based Dish, the nation's second-largest satellite TV provider, meanwhile, told U.S. District Judge David Folsom that they made enough changes to ensure the service no longer uses TiVo's technology.
