DJ S-Champo (aka Shayne Champlin) spins at clubs from Colorado Springs to Denver, and you can check out his schedule and his latest mixes at myspace.com/theschampo. Right now, these are his three favorite tracks:
* Isabel Guzman - Lovesong (Morgan Page Remix)
"This track is very progressive. It starts out more mellow and changes significantly throughout, ending with a very high-energy, floor-killing climax. Very melodic and ambient at the same time. Very intelligent."
* Morgan Page - Longest Road to Nowhere (Discount Rhinos Remix)
"This track is so impactful. The vocal is very passionate and well done although it is deceiving. It starts out very calm and melodic with a great guitar riff that builds up with the vocals. When it drops, it is completely different and gets very grimy and funky. A must-have."
* Eelke Kleijn - Early Morning Awakenings (Original Mix)
"This is one of my favorite mellow groovers. It is a great transition from a calm part of a set to a more funky part. It is very intelligent and minimal, but is so well put together and will make your head bob without a doubt. Check it out."
