Drink up: Late-night grub options

It's late, you and your crew are leaving the bar, you're all feeling a little seedy. You need sustenance, and quickly. But where to go? Nothing can derail the end of an evening faster than an argument over where's open and who wants what. That's why we're here, kids. The following is a short list of Denver's late-night grub options.
* El Taco de Mexico 714 Santa Fe Drive
Open until midnight daily, this is the spot to enjoy a bit of post-bar pig esophagus.
* The Hornet 76 Broadway
Late-night menu until midnight featuring burgers, fish and chips, a cubano sandwich and snacks galore. Also centrally located on south Broadway.
* Pete's Kitchen 1962 E. Colfax Ave.
We simply can't make this list without Pete's. Generations of Colfax bargoers have crowded into this tiny, shockingly bright (especially if you've just left the Lions Lair), 24-hour establishment for early morning pancakes and hash browns.
* CityGrille 321 E. Colfax Ave.
One of the city's best burgers comes in late-night mini-form at this Colfax favorite, for the highly affordable price of a single dollar, every night from 9 p.m. until 11 p.m. and until midnight Friday and Saturday.
* Jerusalem Restaurant 1890 E. Evans Ave.
Like Pete's, there's simply no way to leave off this south Denver institution, which dishes up stellar Mediterranean food from 9 a.m.-4 a.m. Sunday- Thursday and 24 hours a day Friday and Saturday.
