In the new NY Times/ CBS poll they show that our current Congress, which has been run by Democrats for the past two years, has a 12% approval and an amazing 74% disapproval rating. The real question we should be asking is why any Colorado voter would want to give Nancy Polosi and Harry Reid a Democrat President as liberal as Barak Obama to work with. With such poor performers in Congress like Harry, Nancy and of course Barney Frank and Chris Dodd of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac fame the American people at least deserve someone who can balance the government in the presidents chair and neutralize the underperforming Democrats in Congress.

Possibly because many voters were counting on congress to stop Bush, which they didn't do.

The Democratic leadership has been lapdogs for the right since they threw Clinton under the impeachment bus.
12% approval? That's much better than I'd expect.
