Motorcyclist killed in Jefferson County

A Boulder man died this morning after the motorcycle he was driving hit an Audi sedan on Colorado 74 in Jefferson County, the Colorado State Patrol reported.
The accident occurred prior to 10:30 a.m. about five miles west of Morrison. Details of the crash were not immediately available.
A State Patrol spokesman reported that a female passenger on the motorcycle was not seriously injured.
Authorities withheld the name of the victim until his family could be notified.
