Things could get interesting Saturday when the Falcons defense faces the Nevada-Las Vegas offense.
Air Force is allowing 18.5 points a game and UNLV is scoring 26.7.
More to the point, the Rebels' red-zone offense is tied for first in Football Bowl Subdivision.
The Rebels have scored all 18 times - 15 touchdowns and three field goals - they have been inside the opponent's 20-yard line.
"They're a good team," Falcons coach Troy Calhoun said. "This is their fourth year as a staff and you can just see their execution offensively and defensively is very good."
Etc.
* Kickoff for Air Force's game at Army on Nov. 1 has been set for 10:06 a.m. MDT. The game will be televised by ESPNU as part of the contract agreement between the network and Army.
* Air Force freshman quarterback Tim Jefferson, who started against San Diego State but suffered a Grade I concussion, practiced Monday and didn't have to wear a red jersey, indicating he would be available to play Saturday.
