Old Navy picks Boulder-based Porter, Bogusky

Old Navy picked Boulder- based Crispin Porter & Bogusky as its new ad agency as the Gap-owned retailer attempts to reposition itself with young moms shopping on a budget.
Crispin Porter is known for its edgy campaigns for clients including the "Whopper Freak Out" ads forBurger King and the new ads for Microsoft Corp.
Old Navy has shifted away from trendier fashions in favor of basic clothing in an attempt to reach cash-strapped shoppers during the economic downturn.
