AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP) _ A tight race for the Class 5A state boys golf tournament championship concluded today with three teams — Cherry Creek, Fairview, Regis Jesuit — tied for first place with 227 strokes.

Meanwhile, host Air Academy and Douglas County are only one stroke back at 228, at the Eisenhower Golf Course at the Air Force Academy.

Air Academy senior Mike Guerra shot a 1-under par 71 on Monday to take a one-stroke lead with 18 of the 36 holes complete.
