PRIME RATING: October 6
Rocky staff and wire reports

Today
Decision 2008 Senate Debate
* 7 p.m., 9 News
The show: Forget all those phone calls the television ads insist that you make: U.S. Senate candidates Mark Udall, the Democrat, and Bob Schaffer, the Republican (known in small-screen circles as the "Boulder Liberal" and "Big Oil Bob," respectively) will go head-to-head to discuss the issues for a Colorado TV audience. Unless it's like their recent encounter on a Sunday news show, we might learn something about them.
Tuesday
Presidential Debate
* 7 p.m., CBS4, KRMA-Channel 6, Denver's 7, 9News, Fox 31, CNN
The show: Here they go again. Republican Sen. John McCain and Democratic Sen. Barack Obama pick up where their vice presidential candidates left off last week, presumably without the winks and "you betchas." When it's over at 9, KRMA-Channel 6 offers a documentary on dinosaurs that roamed Alaska. Coincidence?
Wednesday
Bones
* 7 p.m., Fox 31
The show: Brennan (David Boreanaz) and Booth (Emily Deschanel) alight in a small religious enclave on the Chesapeake Bay after the remains of the community's pastor are discovered.
Thursday
Kath & Kim
* 7:30 p.m., 9News
The show: Molly Shannon and Selma Blair star as a dysfunctional mother-daughter duo, both loud and pushy, and their adventures in middle-class suburbia. In the premiere, daughter Kim moves in with Kath.
Saturday
Chuck
* 8 p.m., 9News
The show: (Pre-empted Tuesday by the presidential debates) Chuck (Zachary Levi) goes undercover to pluck an important device from toxic spy the Black Widow (Melinda Clarke). But to penetrate her web, he must first learn the fine art of seduction from suave superspy Roan Montgomery (John Larroquette), whose best days are probably behind him.
Sunday
Avalanche vs. Oilers
* 6 p.m., Altitude
The show: The leaves are golden and falling, the temperatures have dropped into the 70s -- it must be hockey season! The Avalanche laces up the skates and takes on the Edmonton Oilers.
