The Avalanche's T.J. Hensick will be under more pressure in his second NHL season.
We asked forward T.J. Hensick, a former University of Michigan player now in his second season with the Avalanche, to . . . Fill in the blanks
Recent movies you've enjoyed . . . The new Batman - The Dark Knight. It had plenty of action. But my favorite movie is probably Braveheart.
When listening to music . . .
It's mostly country. I'll listen to that more than anything. Tim McGraw and Montgomery Gentry are two of the best artists, but I'll listen to pretty much anything.
You're involved in the Avalanche's Fantasy Football League . . .
And we're doing pretty well so far. I'm on a team with (Avalanche teammate) Cody McCormick. We're called "Mich Reserve," and we've got a 7-3 record, so, hopefully, we'll make the playoffs.
When looking for a good restaurant, you check out . . .
Steak is my favorite food, so it would be a steakhouse. Earl's and The Keg are definitely good spots.
Not including Denver, the NHL's best cities are . . .
Vancouver is up there, for sure. Minnesota is also nice. Those are two of the better spots, but I haven't gotten to every city yet. Hopefully, that'll happen this year.
If you could spend time in any vacation spot in the world . . .
It would have to be someplace where it's nice and warm. I've never been to the Hawaiian Islands, so that'd be a nice trip.
If you have, or could have, a pet . . .
I have a chocolate lab at home. I love dogs. I can't stand cats.
