Poll

Which team is more likely to qualify for a bowl, Colorado or Colorado State?

Numbers Game

5-0 record in road games this season for Air Force.

He Said It

"Our guys do go to the Air Force Academy, and not every single day when they get up is there a red carpet in front of them."

Troy Calhoun, when asked about the challenge facing his team against TCU

If Air Force's game last week against Brigham Young reminded Falcons coach Troy Calhoun of when he was an NFL assistant, this week's game with Texas Christian will, too.

"I thought last week when BYU came out and hit that field, I really thought this is like being in the NFL all over again - just with their size," Calhoun said. "When you flip on (the tape) and watch TCU this week, it's the same way with the kind of quickness and acceleration they have."

Win, not revenge

TCU coach Gary Patterson said Tuesday he and his players still remember last season's 20-17 overtime loss to Air Force at Falcon Stadium but claims Saturday's game won't be payback.

"We were ahead 17-3, and the bottom line is we didn't finish," Patterson said. "All of our kids remember standing on the field and being run around by a maze of cadets, so we still have that image on our mind.

"We went over and stood behind their team. We understand what the Air Force Academy stands for just like we do for Army and Navy. There were some things said.

"I don't think this is one of those revenge games, but our kids understand that this game is more about winning 10 ballgames, which is hard to get to."
