CU players report locker-room thefts

Published November 17, 2008 at 12:05 a.m.

University of Colorado police are investigating multiple reports from CU football players of items being taken from their lockers during Saturday night's game against Oklahoma State at Folsom Field.

CU spokesman Dave Plati confirmed that several players reported missing items after the game, and police were summoned to the Dal Ward Center, where the Buffs' locker room is located.

Entry to the locker room requires a key code, and the doors are usually manned by stadium security during games. It is unclear how someone unfamiliar with the program could have gained entry.
