87 points off 25 turnovers for the Falcons.
"We love being the underdogs. We love people not thinking we have anything until we come out and perform."
Reggie Rembert, Air Force cornerback
AIR FORCE ACADEMY There will be 18 seniors playing their final game at Falcon Stadium on Saturday.
"This is the fewest seniors we've had at the Air Force probably in the last three decades," coach Troy Calhoun said. "You go down the list and each one of those seniors have made significant contributions.
"A good chunk of them are starters, and the guys that aren't you see them in nickel situations, you see them on special teams."
Dekker a finalist
Falcons senior tight end Travis Dekker is one of 13 finalists for the Wuerffel Trophy, given to the college football player who best combines community service with academic and athletic achievement.
Dekker, accepted into the Georgetown School of Medicine, is one of 71 nominees for the American Football Coaches Association Good Works Team, is a semifinalist for the Draddy Trophy and is a candidate for the NFF National Scholar-Athlete Award.
Land of the giants
Brigham Young's five offensive linemen average 6-foot-6 and 326.4 pounds. Air Force is having a problem trying to replicate what it's going to be like to go head-to-head against the Cougars.
"We're trying to find a way to simulate that in practice, but we've got some work to do," Calhoun said.
