Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler, running by Cleveland's Brodney Pool in the fourth quarter Thursday, threw for 447 yards and three touchdowns.
HEROES
Jay Cutler, QB, Broncos – Lit up the Browns for 447 yards and three scoring passes.
Drew Brees, QB, Saints – Shook off a slow start to pass for 422 yards and a pair of touchdowns, though his three interceptions doomed the Saints.
Kurt Warner, QB, Cardinals – Continued his unlikely MVP campaign, throwing for 328 yards and 3 scores without a turnover.
Tyler Thigpen, QB, Chiefs –Silenced his skeptics with a 266-yard, three-touchdown outing, with 26 rushing yards thrown in for good measure.
Peyton Manning, QB, Colts – Just another day at the office, pairing a modest 240 passing yards with yet another touchdown trifecta.
Thomas Jones, RB, Jets – Ran over, through and around the Rams for 149 yards and a trio of scores.
Maurice Jones-Drew, RB, Jaguars – Trounced the Lions with three rushing touchdowns and 91 total yards.
Adrian Peterson, RB, Vikings – Put his team on his back and totaled 225 yards, plus the winning score.
Brandon Jacobs, RB, Giants – Rumbled for 126 yards and two touchdowns.
Willis McGahee, RB, Ravens – Came back from the dead to post 112 yards and a pair of end zone visits.
Mewelde Moore, RB, Steelers – Combined for 105 yards and two more touchdowns.
Eddie Royal, WR, Broncos – Teamed with Cutler for 164 receiving yards and a monster TD.
Anquan Boldin, WR, Cardinals – Scored twice while catching seven passes for 92 yards.
Tony Gonzalez, TE, Chiefs – Reeled in 10 passes for 113 yards and two touchdowns.
Kellen Winslow Jr., TE, Browns – Got in sync with Brady Quinn quickly, catching 10 passes for 111 yards and twin touchdowns.
Todd Heap, TE, Ravens – Also scored twice and added 58 receiving yards.
Jay Feely, K, Jets – Connected on all four of his field goal attempts, including a 55-yarder, plus five PATs.
GOATS
Marc Bulger, QB, Rams – Managed just 65 yards passing before being yanked.
Aaron Rodgers, QB, Packers – Threw for only 142 yards without a score.
Jake Delhomme, QB, Panthers – Collected one touchdown, but threw four interceptions while amassing a paltry 72 yards.
Chris Johnson, RB, Titans – Limited by the Bears to just eight rushing and 15 receiving yards.
Steve Slaton, RB, Texans – Could only penetrate the Ravens for seven rushing and 17 receiving yards.
Kevin Faulk, RB, Patriots – Barely made a dent in the Bills with 18 total yards.
Jamaal Charles, RB, Chiefs – An injury ruined his first start, limiting him to three carries for eight yards.
Braylon Edwards, WR, Browns – Held to just one 15-yard catch.
Steve Smith, WR, Panthers – His only reception went for 9 yards.
Jerricho Cotchery, WR, Jets – His team racked up 47 points, but all he got was a single 18-yard catch.
Laveranues Coles, WR, Jets – His only catch in that same 47-point onslaught traveled 14 yards.
Torry Holt, WR, Rams – How about one for 5 yards?
Lee Evans, WR, Bills – Do I hear two for 22?
Bernard Berrian, WR, Vikings – OK, he takes the cake with a big fat zero-for-zero.
Chris Chambers, WR, Chargers – He was active, but you wouldn’t know it from the box score. He, too, laid a goose egg.
SURPRISES
Brady Quinn, QB, Browns – Had a sharp debut, passing for 239 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions.
