1 Be rude. The Broncos are the selected guests for Browns quarterback Brady Quinn's coming-out party. It's Quinn's first career start after Cleveland made the change Monday, benching Derek Anderson. The Broncos need to make life difficult for Quinn with some pop in the pass rush and keep him from picking away at a secondary missing two starters - cornerback Champ Bailey and safety Marlon McCree.
2 Match game. Browns tight end Kellen Winslow, who is tied for the team lead in catches, is a difficult matchup for any team, but with the Broncos missing linebacker D.J. Williams in coverage, it could be real trouble for the Broncos. Safety Marquand Manuel might be asked to do the job. Manuel already has been matched up against the likes of Antonio Gates and Tony Gonzalez this season.
3 Deal with it. Whether it's true or not, whether they believe it or not, opposing teams believe quarterback Jay Cutler and receiver Brandon Marshall can be sidetracked by a little trash talk. So they should expect people to give it a try in the coming weeks.
4 Remember when. The last time the Broncos faced a defense with nose tackle Shaun Rogers - a 44-7 Lions win in Detroit last season - the 350-pound Rogers returned an interception 66 yards for a touchdown and dominated the line of scrimmage. Center Casey Wiegmann is looking at a full evening's work.
5 Snap out of it. They're 1-4 in their past five games yet through all of the turnovers and missed tackles, the Broncos have said they have the talent to make things right. If that's true, it's time for those players to make a fight of it with eight games remaining or the Broncos are headed for another tough day in a season that has been too full of them already for their liking.

Let Cutler play noseguard. Blitz every play. Put Shanahan in as punt returner. God knows we'll make Brady Quinn look like Joe Montana, who we used to make look like the best QB ever.
If there ever was a team to really look bad on Thursday night, we can do it. Yes we can. Yes we can.
