AT THE REPUBLICAN PARTY VICTORY OFFICE IN LAKEWOOD -- There's a nasty rumor going around, and Republican party volunteers want it quashed.
No, it's definitely NOT true that Republicans are supposed to vote tomorrow.
Charli Oswald, a Republican volunteer, said campaign workers in Jefferson County and Denver have been told that Democrats are calling Republicans, telling them they're supposed to vote tomorrow because lines are too long today.
Republican volunteers worry that someone will fall for it because "you have people trying to figure out the process," and it can be confusing.
Oswald said voters need to be in line at their polling place by 7 p.m. tonight to cast their ballots.
"Today is the only day to vote," she said.

Sounds like a nasty rumor, and likely false. Merely a parroting of the VERIFIED cases of Republicans doing the same thing.

What's "funny" is there are reports on CNN that Republicans are doing this to Democrats, too... both sides are guilty. This election has brought out the worst in so many people, on both sides of the fence. So disappointing.

I agree. Both sides are involved. Just today when my boss' boyfriend heard I was voting for Obama, he said, "Don't forget to vote tomorrow." Haha.
She later told me not to take offense because he's been saying that to all of the Obama supporters all day. Funny guy.
But really, who would fall for this?

Oh please, one of the people on my facebook list (a Republican) was telling Democrats to vote Wednesday. Its a stupid joke that people in both parties apparently find amusing.

That is strange. This is the first I've heard that Dems are telling Republicans to vote on Wednesday. I've only heard about the Republicans telling Dems to vote on Wednesday. But I agree, who would fall for this?

That is just a lie... no Democrats were playing with Republican votes. I'm sorry but I need proof before I'll go there.
It just didn't happen.
