Denver-based telecom equipment vendor Sorrento Networks said Friday it has acquired Australia-based Redfern Broadband Networks.
Financial terms weren't disclosed.
The original Sorrento was acquired by Zhone Technologies in 2004. In January, Denver executives Tim Anderson and Jim Nevelle re-established the Sorrento brand and bought the optical equipment portfolio from Zhone. Sorrento, a private company, declined to disclose annual revenues.
