Evidence of space aliens?

ET ballot issue backer says video provides proof

Jeff Peckman wants city to create extraterrestrial affairs panel.

A video that purportedly shows a living, breathing space alien will be shown to the news media Friday in Denver.

Jeff Peckman, who is pushing a ballot initiative to create an extraterrestrial affairs commission in Denver to prepare the city for close encounters of the alien kind, said the video is authentic and convinced him that aliens exist.

"As impressive as it is, it's still one tiny portion in the context of a vast amount of peripheral evidence," he said Wednesday. "It's really the final visual confirmation of what you already know to be true having seen all the other evidence."

When Peckman went before city officials this month to discuss his proposed ET initiative, he promised to show the video.

Peckman said the public will have to wait to see it because it's being included in a documentary by Stan Romanek, a Colorado native who has reported UFO sightings.

"No one will be allowed to film the segment with the extraterrestrial because there is an agreement in place limiting that kind of exposure during negotiations for the documentary," he said.

But people won't have to wait too long to see it for themselves. "There is an open, public meeting in about a month in Colorado Springs," Peckman said. "We'll hope to do one in Denver at some point, and then in a few months, there will be the documentary that anybody can have, and it'll have the footage."

An instructor at the Colorado Film School in Denver scrutinized the video "very carefully" and determined it was authentic, Peckman said.

Peckman, 54, said the video was among the reasons he was "compelled" to launch the proposed ballot initiative, which has generated news coverage as far as South Africa.

"It shows an extraterrestrial's head popping up outside of a window at night, looking in the window, that's visible through an infrared camera," he said.

The alien is about 4 feet tall and can be seen blinking, Peckman said this month.

In a statement, Peckman said "other related credible evidence" proving aliens exist will be shown at Friday's news conference, too.

In 2003, Peckman authored an off-beat ballot initiative that would have required the city to implement stress-reduction techniques. The "Safety Through Peace" initiative failed, but garnered 32 percent of the vote.

as to this peckman shill, he was the intial peeping tom looking in the window at a colorado state female dorm. he was the perv NOT ME. he simply talked me into checking out the babes then starts videoing me. had i known he was gong to do this i would have made myself invisible and used my ray gun to zap him. plus, i don't find human females attractive, i prefer wart hogs.

I will try and sum up what GameGrrl is saying.

By "parasites" she is trying to tell you how un-important we are in the vast universe(s), and I agree. The sun is 3 millions x the size of the earth. There are planets that are 300 millions x the size of the sun. You do the math. We are a tiny jagged hunk of rock floating in a universe so vast you couldnt even begin to imagine the size.

Our planet is so weak that a 6 mile wide meteor crashing into the earth would end all life on our planet. After all, the dinosaurs were here for millions of years, and thats what killed them.

To even think that we are the only living species in this vast universe is being narrow minded. Am I saying that little green/grey guys with big eyes exsist? No. There could be a planet of all deer, all plants, or even cavemen who havent evolved yet. Anything is possible.

Another thing she is trying to say is this: If their is another species that is so advanced that they could travel all the way to earth, they are far more advanced than humans (possibly millions of years ahead of us). therefor they would consider us "parasites" in the universe. Think about it - If we (humans) traveled to some other planet, and found a species that was millions of years behind us, They would be "parasites", literally.

And to all the religious people that are saying "How can you believe when there is no evidence?" How can you believe in God when there is no evidence of him/her? What, a book? I can go write a far fetched book just like the bible right now, I have time. Its a hypocritical double standard.

God just chose earth for his plans? A weak tiny hunk of rock that is inferior to 95% of the other planets that we know of? That makes alot of sense.

Also: If there is a God, and he is one of us, why did he create dinosaurs before humans, let them rule the earth for millions of years, then just decide to kill them off one day?

(Ancient civilizations prayed to Gods from above, and often painted/carved pictues of un-humanlike beings. Who is to say God isnt of another species?)

    Just my opinion.

In the case of the former, John Fife Symington (Governor of Arizona) admitted seeing them. Due to the length of the event (3 hours), there was comprehensive news footage. Frances Emma Barwood (Vice Mayor of Phoenix) was involved in the investigation. The military admitted they were not testing any classified aircraft (stupid idea anyway; as a flightline vet, I can tell you they wouldn't run a classified operation during prime time [730-1030pm] over the sixth-largest U.S. city). The closest explanation, sorely lacking, was that they were testing military flares. However, the flares weren't released until 930pm (two hours into the event), and no flares I'm aware of can fly horizontally for over two hours. :-) Yet Mrs. Barwood was stymied every step of the way during her investigation, even though she pointed out that "The object traveled over the most densely populated pathway. Isn't there a public-safety issue?"

Even now, there has been no explanation of the event. I'd like to blame it on secret military aircraft testing, but it just doesn't seem plausible. It also doesn't explain some historical problematica from before the advent of flight.

    Tree4twenty.. you make sense too.

On-topic... if space aliens were to approach earth... we'd hear them long before they got here with radio telescopes through the SETI program (google it). Carl Sagan (a hero of mine) imagined a perfectly plausible scenario in "Contact"... read the book or even watch the movie to get an idea.

I certainly believe in extraterrestrial life. I just don't believe they've actually visited yet.

They could outmaneuver and outflank us seemingly at will. They moved at varying speeds--sometimes very fast, sometimes slow--and other times they would come to a dead stop as we zoomed past underneath." --Astronaut Gordon Cooper, describing his first direct encounters with
UFO's while serving as a military pilot in Germany. (from Leap of Faith, Gordon Cooper’s autobiography, p. 91)

“It was a four-foot human shaped figure with arms, bizarre-looking four-fingered hands… and an oversized incandescent lightbulb-shaped head… pale gray skin…. But the eye sockets themselves were oversized and almond shaped and pointed down to its tiny nose, which didn’t protrude from the skull.” --Eisenhower White House National Security Council member Col. Philip J. Corso describing dead aliens he saw in glass containers en route from Roswell, NM to Wright Field in Ohio. From Corso’s 1997 book The Day After Roswell, p. 32.

"These (gray aliens) were living, breathing creatures, just as mortal as you and I. They had feelings, they had families. They had a cultural society. The one thing they didn't have was hate, hostility. They had anger, from what I observed--and I don't know how to explain it better than stating--it was an intellectual anger. They could not... comprehend how a species such as us, that had such great potential to do such wonderful and marvelous things, could do such horrible and nightmarish things to one another."

"I suspect that we have, indeed, been contacted--perhaps even visited--by extraterrestrial beings, and the US government, in collusion with the other national powers of the earth, is determined to keep this information from the general public."

I've posted a few comments here and there regarding this topic, so I'd like to reiterate the following:
Ok, I'm going to put this as simple as possible. ANYONE who mocks those who have had experiences is simply arrogant. That would be like me saying, no, your family didn't experience a 'miracle', it was just a coincidence that your mom doesn't have cancer anymore... NO-ONE has the right to judge ANYONE!
I for one, have worked with the Colorado Bureau of Investigations, Denver District Attorney's Office, Denver District Court, and have been a probation officer. So I think...its safe to say I have SOME credibility and I can ASSURE you, w/o a shadow of a doubt, we are not alone. To think we are is a delusional concept that not only mocks those who've experienced things that our science can not explain, but also to those who haven't and believe 'God' (or some version of God) only created us. COME ON!
And so we come to this...well ok, maybe there are other civilizations out there, but they are too far away. Oh really? Why, b/c OUR primitive science says so??? Lets remember, on the evolutionary scale, we are NEW BORNS!!! Is it not at all possible to think that a species far more advanced has found a way?
So to close this out, let me say that I for one more than support this agenda; I welcome it with not only open arms, but an open mind. And it is true... Your mind works like a parachute, functioning best when OPEN...
I'd like to also thank those of you here who are positive thinking, its a breath of fresh air from the close minded, arrogant comments that I've been seeing (there still plenty here, however, there seem to be far less) in recent postings! For example, ejflex and fiesty have made some very valid, good points.
Afterall, if it is just us, its an aweful waste of space!
    Blessings to you all...

I think both fiesty & wireguy have good information. I feel a lot of people are so negative about this topic because they are uneducated and it is a primitive human response to be fearful of the unknown and as you can see, those who are afraid and are speaking out do so in a negative tone. So instead of asking, well, I'm not sure about this how do I learn more, you end up with nasty statements that have no ground.
You can look back to the beginning of time and see that we have been visited for eons! Its amazing, and I truly feel that this has been and will continue to be a positive thing, if we allow it to be.

Just wait till cloning tech advances and they prance out a real live walking talking "alien" who informs us of our impending doom by space invaders UNLESS we unite under a one world order. To johnson... Yes, my statement regarding my background and credibility is only to express the fact that I am not what the media calls, 'a non-credible source, aka, someone w/o an education and/or a solid career in an area where the public are in a trusting position'. People typically will trust the word of a law enforcement officer, a doctor, or the like as these are positions which require a great amount of trust from the public. For example, if farmer Joe were to tell you he saw a flying saucer, the public typically would say, 'Yea right!'; however, if a a law enforcement officer would state the same, the public typically feels there is more credibility to the remarks of the officer.
Its sad actually, b/c 'farmer Joe' may be a credible source, but due to his line of work, the public/media typically would not view his story as credible. You can see evidence of this dating back to Roswell. Hope that helps clarify what I was trying to get across johnson! Blessings to you!

Trust me people I know this case and the people around it including Stan Romanek and this is as fake as it can get. This so-called film instructor was not even given the original footage, but a tape that was "reconstructed" from the original and sent to him. And by the way Stan Romanek has a professional videographer living with him and he has the equipment to fake this footage. I asked Stan two years ago to let me analyze the footage and he got up and left the room. I have worked in the film and video business for ten years and can tell you that this guy who claims to teach school probably works at one of Colorado's most expensive and worthless colleges that nobody can get a job after graduating from.

Just because he says it does not look fake doesn't make it so. Remember this guy claims to have worked in Hollywood, but now teaches?

    What does that tell you?

I also told Stan to let Kodak, Hewlitt Packard, and others who can analyze this footage to have a go at it and he would not do it.

You might want to also be careful with the Stan Romanek issue since the man "running" Stan is a former Naval Intelligence officer who now works for the Jefferson County Plannning Commission.

You know, that same county where the Columbine shooting happened and where some Jeffco employees have found themselves wearing prison orange.

Also professional physicists have alreadt debunked the equations as being part of standard electrical and electromagnetic equations that have been lefted and inserted into meaningless equations probably created by Stan.

I have noticed with Stan and this Jeff Peckman that if you are not a hardcore ufo/alien beleiver, then they want nothing to do with you.

I know we would all like to find that evidence of exterterrstrial visitation, but I think that when a so-called abductee has a professional videographer living with him and Stan even admits that he himself is a good graphic designer with good Photoshop skills, one must be very wary.
