BACK STORY

Daytime's The View will repeat one of its shows in two weeks from an entirely different view: backstage. Taped a week earlier, the Memorial Day episode will feature an interview with Dina Lohan and daughter Ali and a performance by Ryan Cabrera. On May 30, a version with backstage footage will air with about half the original show.

DANGER ON JOB

NBC's Today anchors are trying out some of the world's most dangerous jobs in a special four-day series. This morning, Matt Lauer performs as a rodeo clown and barrel man in front of 60,000 people (and some big bulls) in Houston, Meredith Vieira gets behind the wheel of an 8,000-pound, 18-wheeler in Georgia on Wednesday and Al Roker learns how to be a Hollywood stuntman Thursday. Monday, Ann Curry helped carve a national landmark in South Dakota.

Lucy Griffiths, actress who plays Lady Marian in the British TV series Robin Hood (Saturdays, BBC America)
