The head of Colorado’s ski industry trade group has accepted a job as vice president of sales and marketing for Intrawest’s Steamboat ski resort.
Colorado Ski Country USA President Rob Perlman will move to Steamboat Springs in July to assume a role now handled by Intrawest marketing chief Andy Wirth.
“We knew that only a veteran with a diversity of mountain resort experience could take us to the next level,” Steamboat CEO Chris Diamond said in a statement.
Perlman has been head of Colorado Ski Country since 2002.
