One of two women bystanders shot outside an Aurora bar early Sunday remains in serious condition today.
The second victim was released from the hospital, Aurora police said.
Detectives continue an intense hunt for the gunman who may have fled in a sport utility vehicle with three other men, police said.
Detectives have been trying to sort out witness statements and the sequence of events before and during the gunfire.
In a new development, detectives have found the the Ford pickup truck whose driver may have been involved in the altercation outside La Sierra Bar and Grill in the 2000 block of Clinton Street, police said.
After interviewing the truck's driver and surveying the evidence at the shooting scene, detectives believe the only gunman involved in the confrontation fled in the SUV, police said.
Witnesses told detectives the driver of the SUV was the one who opened fire.
"We are still desperately searching for them," said Aurora Police Detective Shannon Lucy.
Detectives said they also think the confrontation began over a minor traffic dispute in the parking lot of the business.
Police are offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the identity and prosecution of of a suspect or suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Tom Sobieski at 303-739-6710.
The two women were shot about 2 a.m. while sitting in a car waiting for friends, Lucy said. They had nothing to do with the dispute that led to the shooting, the detective added.

That bar has been a blight in that Area since the previous owners sold it. Maybe they should just push that building down.

Why were the only descriptions 'wearing a jacket...', not a white guy, a black guy, or a hispanic guy? Is the RM putting political correctness before public safety? I think so. Describing a violant criminal isn't racial profiling, it's telling a description.
Common?!

By the way, that is a Hispanic Bar, and it's location invites a lot of trouble into an area that doesn't need anymore misery.

Just an FYI if anybody else is confused about the race of the perps, because it was somehow left out....hmmmmmmmmmm.
Let's look at the facts and add it up.
1. They were in a Mexican bar
2. They were wearing cowboy hats in Aurora
3. They were driving late model F-150's
and the most obvious fact that they were, a-hem dare I say Hispanic, is........ drum roll...............
One of the trucks had chrome wheel wells and a chrome gas cap.
Taa-Daa. See RMN gives us all the facts, just not all at once. Sometimes you just have to add it all up if you want the pertinent info.
Oh yeah, I forgot one last fact. They were shooting into a crowd like a bunch of sackless cowards. Nuff Said?

Yes.
Funny that there's "an intense hunt" going on for the two gunmen, but we don't get a description of them beyond what they were wearing, and what one was driving.
RMN, why is that?

Two assholes shot up a parking lot and injured to innocents. Doesn't matter the race, religion, or anything else. If they are here illegally send them back to where they belong after their jail time is up. It would also be nice to send their government a bill for the jail and court costs. But bigotry ON BOTH sides is stupid. Bad guys are evil and come in every color and every walk of life. We need to worry about getting rid of the evil a little more and about the color of a persons skin a little less.

theQ,
No one in their right mind would take your bet. At shooting occured at a Mexican bar, one of the suspects was wearing cowboy hat and driving a F-150 or F-250.
Now would you bet me that the next story that runs in the Rocky about a child molester is a white guy?
