After being named to the NBA's All-Defensive first team for the second year in a row, center Marcus Camby hopes he can make a bid for a three-peat while still wearing a Nuggets uniform.

As has been the case for the past few years, his name often is mentioned in discussions about whether the Nuggets need to shake up their roster in an attempt to win a first-round series.

"It hasn't changed. This is definitely where I want to finish my career," Camby said in a telephone interview Monday. "I don't think I did anything to warrant being traded. I just want to win, just like anybody else."

Camby also said he expects teammate Allen Iverson to return to Denver instead of opting out of his contract's final year.

"When I talked to him, he said he wants everyone to come back and he wants to win (an NBA title)," Camby said. "That thirst is in our mouths."

SKY SOX FALL Colorado Springs lost to Albuquerque 13-8 in a Pacific Coast League game in Colorado Springs.

Sky Sox starter Valerio De Los Santos gave up nine runs in 41/3 innings.

RAMS HONORED Colorado State senior third baseman Lauren Cusick earned her fourth career all-Mountain West Conference nod, joining a trio of sophomores - Ashley Munoz, Allison Majam and Rebecca Penland - as the all-MWC softball team was announced.

Cusick also was named Conference Player of the Year. She led the league in three offensive categories (home runs, runs and total bases) to help lead the Rams to a 29-22 record.

Munoz and Majam made the team for a second consecutive year, while Penland is a first- time honoree.
