Indeed. If this were 1986, this story would be news.

Glad you two won't get in my way of getting tickets. Madonna's amazing. She constantly reinvents herself and continues to blow up the charts. I've seen her tours on HBO shows, and I know this will be an incredible performance. I can't wait.

Yeah, no problem Jennie--get those tix! And smith, good point. Maybe Madonna and Sarah Jessica Parker could team up and go on tour together. They could call it the Girls Who Look Like A Foot Tour - 2008.

Well, hello NCB. Did you get my response to you on a thread from yesterday? I didn't see a response. It's good to see you're still around, and still your usual self.

You know, for someone who's tremendously homophobic, you sure are showing me a lot of attention. I hate to break this to you, but I'm not into guys. I'm straight, but not narrow. You should have been able to figure that out by my shunning of Madonna's latest round of concerts. But if you ask real nice, I bet Jennie would let you go with her.

Keep smiling. It makes you look fabulous!

The reason this is entertainment news (like this even needs to be explained) is because she's never played here before, is still huge in the music scene, and puts on a great show.

Say all the mean, rude, unnecessary comments you want to, I personally am looking forward to seeing someone whose music was a huge part of my twenties, thirties, and now forties.

And the beauty of the world we live in is if you don't enjoy her music, guess what? YOU don't have to go! Isn't that great!

Might be time for me to sell that Penthouse I have with her in it. You may be my lucky star...

Another political refuge from the U.S. She sure likes our money though. Her and Johnny Depp can stay in France with the rest of the Frogs. Oh, and take Barbara Streistand, and Angelina with you...(Bunch of ungrateful A-HOE's.)

Aw, did you get censored NCB? Rest assured I would never flag you. I think your entries need to stick around in these blogs, if for nothing else for my sole entertainment. And I'm sure a lot of other people get a chuckle from reading your sophmoric, vulgar posts. Even if I were to disagree with all of my being (and I usually do) I wouldn't ask for them to be gone. That's not how I operate. I will commend you for your efforts to finally learn the English language. I think it will help you communicate better on these blogs and in real life! Good for you.

As far as Madonna, I listened to her in the 80s because my girlfriends listened to her in the 80s. I tolerated her then. I choose not to now. Mind you, this is just a personal opinion. But I do get a kickout of seeing 80s bands come around again--it's a riot to see bands like Def Leppard and Duran Duran back out on the road. I did see Jane's Addiction a few years back at DU, and they were pretty darned good--still. What about you, NCB, what are your tastes in music?

And NCB, check me if I'm wrong--and I'm sure you will regardless--but I don't take too many shots at your bad grammar. I'm too busy responding to your outrageous thoughts in general to take notice of grammar issues. But make no mistake, it's good to see you around!

I heard on the radio last night that tickets are $200-$400 after fees for this show?! That just crazy! I grew up in the 80's listening to her but is she really that popular still to charge that kind of money for tickets in a venue where the cheap seats at $200 will get you an echo while staring at dancing dots?!

    this thread is sad.

the woman, like it or not, is a music legend who has NEVER PERFORMED in denver.

over the length of her expansive career, this is the FIRST time she is here. that is good entertainment news.

i, for one, am looking forward to getting a chance to see an icon like this live on stage -- even if it isn't my cup-o-tea musically.

this and stevie wonder are two shows i'm really looking forward to seeing. we don't get big shows like this much anymore, and it sure beats the run-of-the-mill red rocks bands we see year after year after year.
