Former University of Colorado president Hank Brown will still be involved with students and CU.

Thursday, he was named the Quigg and Virginia S. Newton Endowed Chair in leadership at CU-Boulder by the Board of Regents at their regular meeting.

"I hope to carry on Quigg's legacy in helping to educate new generations of leaders for our state, our nation, and our world," said Brown.

In his new role, Brown will establish a Center in Leadership Development which will support, complement and consolidate different leadership programs on campus.
