Single-game tickets for all potential Avalanche home games in the first round of the NHL playoffs will go on sale at noon Saturday.
The Avalanche, which missed the playoffs last year for the first time since moving to Denver from Quebec in 1995, is in seventh place in the Western Conference heading into the final week-and-a-half of the season.
The top eight teams make the playoffs.
The club is selling playoff tickets by phone, at the Pepsi Center box office and through Ticketmaster outlets. For fans purchasing tickets in person, Avalanche officials said, there will be a lottery for a place in line beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Playoff tickets will be limited to eight per household and range in price from $33 to $157 per seat.
Fans who register on ColoradoAvalanche.com can purchase playoff tickets a day early, on Friday.
