Denver Bronco star wide receiver Brandon Marshall's drunken-driving trial was postponed this morning until June 18, but the more compelling news for those present was the bandage he had on his hand.
Marshall was arrested on Oct. 22 for driving erratically in lower downtown Denver. He was arrested and booked, then taken to a detox center.
Marshall caught 102 passes for the Denver Broncos last year, but a slippery McDonald's bag and an ill-placed TV got the best of him Saturday.
Marshall said he was at a resort in Orlando, Fla., when he slipped on the wrapper and stuck out his hand to brace himself as he fell. The hand went through a TV entertainment center.
He is expected to be ready for the start of Broncos training camp in July.
Marshall has said publicly that he has anger-management issues and is working to overcome them.
Last year, he was arrested after a dispute with his girlfriend. A false-imprisonment charge was dropped after he completed an anger-management course.

Another week, another bronco trial.
The broncos are making the raiders look like fine, upstanding citizens.

Which other Bronco has had a trial recently?
Also, I'm wondering if his hand went through the Entertainment Center because he was angry and punched it? Either that or the thing was made by IKEA.

Anger Managment... is that the PC term for Roid-Rage? It is a little unsettling to know the Boncos are relying on Marshall as their #1 WR when you consider his uncanning ability to garner such bad publicity in such a little amount of time. I'll be surprised if he makes it 5 yrs in this league without getting into serious trouble.

Doesn't matter when they have the trial, I can already tell you what happens.
Marshall gives the judge and prosecutor Broncos tickets and he walks scott-free. Don't believe me? Go ask Kenyon Martin's lawyer how he got away w/ going 100MPH right thru the middle of Cherry Creek.
PS - How many times have you ever slipped on a McDonald's wrapper and punched your way clean thru the TV set as a result?! OJ's "golfing on the front lawn while someone cut off my wife's head" excuse was more credible.
These A-holes live in a liar's fantasyland and they think the rest of us are too stupid or too poor to know any better. But they only do it b/c we let them.

What in the world was in the McDonalds bag and who in the world make a tv so bad you can but your hand through it when you trip? My 5 year old headbutted a tv when he was 2 and the tv did more damage then he did. I am not defending the statement that he has made but I have however seen stranger things happen. So we shouldn't jump the gun because we weren't there.

For anybody who thinks Marshall slipped on a M.D.'s bag I have an historic bridge in Brooklyn, NY for sale, cheap. More likely he had anger management issues with his wide screen.

He admits to having an anger problem, but slipped? How convenient! I used to punch things to, but I learned to put on gloves and hit a boxing bag. Its much more practical. He was probably faded and got pissed about something dumb, and by his surprise, there was a television in front of him! POW!!! What a joker making up excuses like that.

Gee, I was unaware that there were so many people who could see everything that everyone did and apparently, know everything. I was also unaware that they were so high and mighty that they could go around judging people they don't even know. I'm sure these same people have never made mistakes or have done things they regret. I'm sure they're perfect and have every right to go around and criticize people.

Too bad it's not illegal to be stupid, but if that were the case, alot of the local sports players would be in jail. Maybe the Broncos could put a clause in Marshall's contract concerning stupid injuries or anger management issues. Reduce his salary for every time something like this happens. But also give him a chance to earn it back with on the field performance bonus opportunities.

On 9news they are saying that the injury was serious and they are saying the NFL Network said that he told them he was wrestling with family members. Which is a little more believable then the McDonalds story. That's a lot of he said. Reguardless of the story though it made me laugh a little so as long as he's ok then its all that matters.
