A 36-year-old woman was arrested this week on suspicion of trespassing after Boulder police said she locked herself in the bathroom of a local Wendy's restaurant with a dead dog stuffed in a duffel.
After Wendy Louise Washum, of Aurora, had been locked in the restroom for 30 minutes Monday, restaurant employees started complaining of a foul odor, according to Boulder police.
Washum told restaurant employees she "had something in her teeth from the Frosty she purchased and was trying to clean her teeth," an officer wrote in a police report. "Washum's teeth were primarily yellow, and she stated her teeth were white before she had the Frosty."
When police officers arrived at the restaurant at 1965 28th St., they persuaded the woman to open the door and discovered she was carrying a large duffel with a dead dog inside, police spokeswoman Sarah Huntley said.

To all the people who make fun of the disabled knock it off.I am going deaf I get called all sorts of names andeven worse have even had the charge of potential rapist thrown at me.I am going deaf and get clled weirdo plus a whole bunch of names I can't print. My service dog is the only person outside my family who knows how hard it is.This poor woman is a lonely soul suffering the loss of a pet it is not funny. She is a greiving person, who has lost a pet.My dog sits with me and we go places together, why because my old friends are to busy now.I lost my first service dog he passed away and I stayed home for weeks. My family did my shopping for me I was afraid to leave the house. Now my new dog is my lifeline to the world. He lets me know who is to close and takes me to the front door when I have company. So to all those people don't make fun of those who are ill or disabled. We don't wish you any hurtful or nasty comments. To this womans family I do understand how cruel people are, that is not me and I am sorry for the loss of her dog and the misunderstanding of those jerks out there. Please accept my deepest apology for all the cruel and hateful thing others have said.May you be blessed for all the love and support you give to her everyday.Because for many of us it's the little things we are greatful for and know it.Just call me a friend who understands.
