Three reasons to tune in to tonight's second-season premiere of Shear Genius, Bravo's Project Runway-style competition for the hairstyling set:
1. Denver represents! Local stylist extraordinaire Charlie Price, owner of Click salon in Cherry Creek North, gets the chance to show off his skills. With a resume that includes being named 2007 International Stylist of the Year by The Canadian Mirror Awards, we're guessing he'll be keeping his scissors sharp for a long time.
2. Crazy challenges! Last season, the stylists had to take black hair to blond, curly hair to straight, long hair to short. This season, the ante is being upped. On tonight's episode? The contestants must cut hair while blindfolded.
3. Three words: Charlie's Angels reunion! Host Jaclyn Smith, during a conference call, tells us: "There is going to be a Charlie's Angels reunion on the show. . . . You will be surprised when you see it. We recreate our styles from the '70s with a modern touch. . . . I think having some Angels there was intimidating to some of the stylists."
* Watch it: Shear Genius, tonight at 8 p.m. on Bravo
