Denver police are investigating an incident Friday afternoon in which a man, who earlier resisted police assistance, died after being injured in an argument.
The man, who was not identified Friday night, died at Porter Adventist Hospital.
At 1:49 p.m., Denver police responded to the 2200 block of South Lindley Court on a call of a possible argument.
When officers arrived, a man appeared to be flagging one of them down. But when the police tried to contact the man, he allegedly ran.
He was observed to be bleeding from an unknown injury.
When police caught up with the man, he became combative, and officers had to struggle with him before he was brought under control.
It was not clear Friday night if police are seeking a suspect in the case.
