Oxyoke Fire west of Castle Rock contained

Fire crews announced the Oxyoke Fire west of Castle Rock was 100 percent contained at about 6 p.m. Tuesday, and all evacuated residents were allowed to return to the area.
The fire, on Pike National Forest land in Douglas and Jefferson counties, burned about 110 acres.
Mop-up operations and cooling the smoldering trees and logs could take several days.
The cause of the fire remains unknown.
