Fort Collins police have ramped up their investigation into the kidnapping Saturday of a woman at gunpoint, allegedly by her former boyfriend, as she was leaving the Dollar Tree Store where she worked.
Twelve detectives are investigating the case, which has been transferred to the Major Crimes Unit, according to police spokeswoman Rita Davis.
Police also released a flier with a picture of the victim, Rosanna Martinez, 45, of Fort Collins; and suspect Travis John Kness, 32, of Loveland; as well as the vehicle in which they were last seen: a 1996 white Jeep Cherokee with the Colorado license plate FHX-5828.
Martinez was forced into the Jeep about 10 p.m. Saturday at 2721 S. College Ave. as she was getting ready to car-pool home, police said. The former couple had split up about eight months ago.
If anyone sees the vehicle or the occupants, they are urged to call 911. If they have non- emergency information about the case, they are asked to call Detective Wes Haynes at 970-221-6560.

So why even write and publish this article without photos of the woman and the suspect? The last paragraph states: "If anyone sees the vehicle or the occupants..." Not much help!
