D.J. Williams will switch positions again this season, moving back to weak-side linebacker from the middle.
| No. | Name | Ht. | Wt. | Yr. |
| 55 | D.J. Williams | 6-1 | 240 | 5 |
| 97 | Boss Bailey | 6-3 | 232 | 6 |
| 53 | Niko Koutouvides | 6-2 | 238 | 5 |
| 57 | Jordan Beck | 6-2 | 235 | 4 |
| 52 | Louis Green | 6-3 | 237 | 5 |
| 54 | Spencer Larsen | 6-4 | 240 | R |
| 58 | Nate Webster | 6-0 | 232 | 9 |
| 51 | Jamie Winborn | 5-11 | 230 | 8 |
| 59 | W. Woodyard | 6-1 | 230 | R |
Starters: D.J. Williams (weak side), Boss Bailey (strong side) and Niko Koutouvides (middle).
Backups: Nate Webster, Jamie Winborn, Jordan Beck, Louis Green, Spencer Larsen, Wesley Woodyard.
The lowdown: Williams will open the season in a different position for the fourth consecutive year, moving back to the weak side, where the Broncos believe he is most productive. Koutouvides will need a quality camp to hold off Webster for the starting spot in the middle — who makes the fewest assignment mistakes will likely decide the issue.
Good to know: The Broncos have not had a linebacker other than Al Wilson named on defense to the Pro Bowl — Ian Gold went as a special teams player in ’01 — since Bill Romanowski in 1996.

Believe it or not, this is where the Broncos seem to really shine! I can't remember a time when we have had such depth at these positions, unless you revert back to the Orange Crush days of Randy G., Karl M., and Rulon J. Niko will get the chance he has always wanted, Boss will play on fire due to his brother's influence, and D.J. will have an AWESOME year playing at his favorite position. Welcome back the Denver D in 2008!!!
