The night manager for Burger King was sentenced today to 48 years in prison for his role in the robbery last summer in which employee Celia Meza was killed.

Anthony Cole, 22, had pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the case and testified against three others who were charged in Meza's murder.

He apologized to Meza's family at his sentencing hearing in Jefferson County District Court.

Cole said that he and disgruntled former Burger King employees Anthony Lowe, 22, and Thomas Johns, 18, planned to rob the restraurant for several weeks before the plan was put into operation July 15.

Lowe and Johns were convicted of first-degree felony murder as was getaway driver Mark Sample, a cook at the restaurant. They will be sentenced later.

Interesting. Dude paricipates in robbery/murder and gets 48 years.
17 year old chick loads up on pot and alcohol, kills one and sends
another to the hospital (critical) and gets 4 years. Does this mean
she did only 1/12th the damage?
Can anyone out there help me with my math?
