* Series history: The Rockies lead 38-36 overall but trail 23-12 at Milwaukee and 14-7 at Miller Park, where they have won once in nine games the past three years. Colorado won two of three June 6-8 at Coors Field.
* Roster report: Pitchers Chris Capuano (left elbow), Randy Choate (left hand) and Yovani Gallardo (right knee) are on the 15-day disabled list.
* Quickly: The Brewers are 28-13 at home. In the National League, only the Cubs (33-10) have a better home record. . . . Since taking over the closer's role May 24, Salomon Torres is tied with the Angels' Francisco Rodriguez for the major league lead in saves (14). . . . The Brewers are 19-8 (.704) in one-run games and are tied with St. Louis for the most one-run victories in the majors.
