Vandals trashed a Lakewood school cafeteria Tuesday night, shattering windows and kitchen plates and scattering frozen burritos across countertops, floors and hallways.
Police discovered the mess at 11:39 p.m. Tuesday when they responded about 20 minutes after a burglary alarm at Molholm Elementary, 6000 W. Ninth Ave. The vandals had already vanished.
The school staff is doing an inventory to determine whether any school property was stolen, possibly including missing laptops. Whoever broke in left handprints and footprints along with a bloody trail, indicating someone was cut, police say.
Authorities are asking anyone with information on this crime to call Lakewood police dispatch at 303-987-7111.

Well it looks like someone will need medical attention.
If they left a blood trail that is a pretty severe cut.
Wonder what possessed these idiots to break in and destroy a place of learning.
Wonder were these a bunch of students from the school.
They need to make whomever did this pay for all the damages and do community service like helping out in the lunchroom.
Maybe six months of washing plates will cause them to rethink what they did.
