Internet company closing offices in Denver, Dallas

Internet giant Google is closing its Denver office and consolidating its Colorado operations at existing offices in Boulder and Thornton.
The move comes as the Silicon Valley company also is closing its Dallas offices and consolidating its Texas operations.
"Following an operational review, we are consolidating our offices in Dallas and Denver as we currently have at least two offices in each of these markets," the company said in a statement.
"This reorganization is designed to ensure we are serving the needs of our customers, stakeholders and Googlers (Google employees) efficiently," the statement added.
"These are the only two cities affected by this review, and all affected Dallas and Denver Googlers will be offered opportunities within the company."
The closure of the Denver office is expected to affect not quite 20 employees.
