Two of the four Colorado Springs children who survived a deadly fire allegedly set by their mother have been flown to a top burn center in Galveston, Texas, the local chapter of the Shriners said Wednesday.
The two others remain in critical condition at Children's Hospital in Aurora, officials said.
A fifth child, 16-month-old Ashya Joseph, died in the fire.
The children's mother, Maria Darlene Joseph, was found after the fire about a block from the family's home with minor injuries and was arrested and jailed.
Bill Stoner, who heads the Shriners chapter in Colorado Springs, said Dontrell Gardner, 9, and his half-sister, Amarjahan Joseph, 3, were taken to the Shriners Hospital in Galveston because it specializes in treating children with burns.
Domenic Gardner, 8, and Supreme Joseph, 5, remain at Children's Hospital.
Maria Joseph was advised Wednesday that first-degree- murder charges could be filed against her.
