Hillary's show of emotion

The talkers and pundits fill the airways with noise trying to explain what happened in New Hampshire this week. A day before the voting took place (or maybe it was the afternoon of the primary) I heard someone on Hardball explain that Hillary got teary eyed because she knew she was going to lose in New Hampshire. Bill Krystal dismissed Hillary’s unscripted moment saying “Clintons don’t cry without calculating first", and Tucker Carlson confessed to his viewers he was repulsed by Hillary’s emotional display.

Hillary Clinton sounded frustrated in the debate last Saturday, reminding us that she has spent 35 years working to change how we do things in this country. She could have knocked on every door in New Hampshire with that message and it wouldn’t have given her the edge over Barack Obama. What she doesn’t like to talk about but folks who want a change in leadership can’t forget, she voted to give George W. Bush the power to start a preemptive and unnecessary war.

When Hillary spoke softly with tears in her eyes, and said she truly wants to turn this country around, the invisible women of New Hampshire, women of a certain age, heard Hillary and they believed her. They believed her enough to put on their winter boots, bundle up in coats, hats and gloves, to go out on a cold Tuesday night and say, “Yes. That’s what I’m talking about.” Watching New Hampshire from my comfortable chair in Denver, I felt something I haven’t felt in a long time. Good things are about to come our way. To borrow an Irish expression I heard years ago, “There’s a crack in the air.”

Amazing how her staff was retained only hours after a house cleaning was threatened if she lost in NH. Pathetic.
Vote for Obama, guiliani or Romney, not another 4 or 8 years of either Clinton - please.
The only thing she'll turn around are our tax rates.
Bush, Clinton, Clinton, Bush, Bush now Clinton again. NO, we've already had 20 years of those two last names in a row. Enough already.
