Husband charged in fatal stabbing

The husband of an Aurora Public Schools employee stabbed to death this week was charged Wednesday with first-degree murder in connection with the homicide, police said.
Matthew James Watkins, 39, was officially identified as the primary suspect Wednesday and is being held without bond in the Arapahoe County jail.
The Arapahoe County District Attorney's Office said it will file formal first-degree murder charges Friday.
